Headquaters - Professional Karate Schools of America (PKSA)
PKSA Karate was established with a mission to create a professional platform for students who want to learn the traditional art of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan. PKSA Karate affiliated schools carry forward that mission by following the tradition and principles of the Korean art form while incorporating a systematic and professional approach. This ensures the quality of the instruction for our students while allowing us to remain flexible and relevant in our ever changing society.
Several things set PKSA schools apart from other Karate schools:
- Our instructors are highly qualified, trained, and certified through our senior Masters.
- We give our students a full array of martial arts training in both traditional styles and non-traditional (i.e. flashy aerials, flying kicks, flash forms) styles, as well as training in weapons (multiple weapons certification), grappling, defense & tactics, kickboxing, pre-school programs, stranger awareness, family protection, and more.
- We ensure that all of our material is effective by revising the material and method of instruction with changing times while still remaining true to the traditional forms and styles taught by the founding Master of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan, Master Hwan Kee.
- We provide the opportunity for our students to learn how to teach and become a certified instructor.
- Our continuous involvement in our community teaches children valuable skills of giving back to society.
The PKSA association of schools has affiliate schools throughout Louisiana, Michigan and several other states. All of our schools are governed by a central panel and the teaching standards are continually reviewed for correctness and excellence. |
